In 2006, SHB donated a $100,000 attorneys fee resulting from E.C. et al. v. Sherman, 2006 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 27506 (W.D. MO., May 9, 2006) to found "Lawyers for Kids." This charitable foundation supports organizations that provide services to foster and adopted children and their parents.
